The secret to excellent filter coffee is a high brewing temperature. The Melitta One® Therm reaches the optimum temperature of 92 to 96°C in the shortest time and maintains this over the whole duration of the brewing process – for particularly aromatic filter coffee at the perfect temperature.

The powerful heating element in the Melitta One® Therm enables a short, optimum brewing time of four to six minutes. In this way, it guarantees a perfectly balanced contact time for the coffee powder and water. This is important as the coffee will become bitter if the contact time is too long.

The nine-hole water outlet on the Melitta One® Therm ensures precise and even distribution of the hot water in the filter. This dampens the coffee optimally with water, which achieves particularly balanced and full-bodied coffee results.

The Melitta One® Therm has two different brewing modes. If you want to prepare just small quantities (2–5 cups), the coffee will flow more slowly than when large quantities are prepared specifically to improve the flavour. This means the results will always be aromatic coffee flavour regardless of the preparation quantity.

The double-wall stainless steel body of the insulated jug ensures good heat insulation and also makes the jug break- and shock-proof. You can use it conveniently with one hand. To pour, simply press the lever at the top of the jug handle.

The size 1x4® filter holder can be easily removed and filled when detached. The integrated drip stop prevents the coffee from continuing to drip when removing the jug. For easy cleaning, the filter holder is simply placed into the dishwasher after use.

In addition to an easy to read water level indicator, the transparent water tank has practical LED lighting. It is activated automatically when the water is poured in and therefore helps you measure the required amount of water.

To ensure that the coffee machine works perfectly, has a long life and gives you the best coffee flavour, you need to descale the coffee machine on a regular basis. This coffee machine has a practical limescale indicator and an integrated descaling program.
