Thanks to the pre-infusion function, the freshly ground coffee powder is dampened briefly before the actual brewing process, i.e. before your coffee is brewed with a perfectly adjusted contact time between the water and coffee.

Passione® makes it easy to make espresso or café crème. The special feature of the direct brewing buttons is that you can choose between a small (40 ml), a medium (120 ml) and a large coffee (200 ml) and the respective bean quantity is preset directly. Of course, the quantity can also be adjusted to suit individual tastes (25-220 ml) and the coffee strength can be set in five stages. The LED symbol display provides additional support.

It is important to clean your automatic coffee maker on a regular basis to ensure it works perfectly, gives you the best coffee flavour and has a long life. The display on your Barista TS Smart® tells you when cleaning or descaling is required, and guides you through the process with simple step-by-step instructions. The brewing unit is simple to remove so you can also clean the interior easily. Furthermore, we recommend using a Melitta® Pro Aqua water filter. It filters the water every time you dispense a beverage ensuring true coffee flavour and optimal taste.
